MAGEC - Agricultural Economics (MS)

For thesis option: 9 credit hours; for coursework only option: 21 credit hours

• AGEC Elective (700 level or higher), 3-15 credit hours

• General Elective (700 level or higher), 3 credit hours

• General Elective (700 level or higher) or course or course or course, 3 credit hours

Courses for general electives must be approved by the student’s major professor.

A culminating experience is required. The graduate student works with the major professor and the supervisory committee to determine the parameters of the culminating experience.

The student is required to demonstrate evidence of scholarly effort by completing a creative component consisting of a written paper and an oral defense.

The following courses developed for the Master's of Agribusiness are not allowed on a student’s program of study: AGEC 700, AGEC 701, AGEC 710, AGEC 740, AGEC 760, AGEC 761, AGEC 770, and AGEC 890.
